Leaving the Land of the Blind

Stephen Kuusisto was born prematurely, developed a condition called retinopathy of prematurely, which made him almostly blind. But, he denied his disability. He heard about a Labrador from a guy which help lifting him from plunged into a wet concrete. After a decade, he became a part of a group of blind people who have come to an organization based at Yorktown Height, New York to be paired with Labrador. When he met the Labrador, retriever female dog named Corky, he was very excited as his tears burst out. Corky was also in love with him. At first, Stephen feel a bit uneasy with Corky. The next morning, Corky was saving him from jeep. He feels very relieves. Another day, when they were rushing for a train, a stranger asking him whether he knew that the end is coming. Stephen denied it. He begin dancing with Corky, not worrying that the end is coming. He believed that they will always be together.

5 bombastic word:
1. Gouged : to remove or form something by digging into a surface
Example : His eyes had been gouged out.
2. Hogwash : an idea, argument that you think is stupid.
Example : talk of renewed civil war is hogwash.
3. Affinity : for/with somebody/something ̴ (between A and B) a strong feeling that you understand somebody/something and like them.
4. Treacherous : that cannot be trusted; intending to harm you.
Example : The footing was treacherous, the ground a maze of water-filled craters
5. Unwittingly : without being aware of what you are doing or the situation that you are involved in.
Example : But unwittingly he lost sight of the gravel road.
