Summary

The writer is not marrying the man she lived for with 13 years. She was in love with that man including his children. She wants to be his wife. When she was 25, she realizes that if we could find someone just right, it would be nice to have that person beside us for entire life. She was refusing to commit herself to a relationship. She failed to understand all marriages are group of marriages. She was afraid to marriage because she did not want to get hurt and regret. She also agrees that no marriage comes with guarantees. Finally, she knows why people wanted her to get married because they wished her well and have a reason to stay at home.

Five ‘bombastic’ words:

1) Derelict: abandoned and left to fall to pieces

- In my opinion, the most effective to make our neighbourhood a safer place is the residents improve the safety features of the neighbourhood. They can hired security guard to take care the neighbourhood area and it will prevent drug addict from using a derelict building as their shelter. This way will make our neighbourhood a safer place.

2) Strew: to scatter

- In my point view, the effect of computer addiction among Malaysian youths is personal neglect. The youths do not care about their personal hygiene. For example, they do not care if their room was strewn with rubbish and dirty clothes because they are addicted to cyber.

3) Permissive: allowing people a lot of freedom to do whatever they want, even things that are usually disapprove

- I believe the reason for social problems is lack of supervision. Nowadays human become more materialistic, therefore parents do not have enough time to supervise their children. As a result parents do not care with whom their children make friends. In addition, parents are too permissive when they allow their children to stay out all night especially girls.

4) Constitute: to form, to be

- I think one of the causes that create water pollution is oil split from the industrial process. This oil spilt constitutes a serious danger to our natural resources.

5) Hazard: a risk, a danger

- From my point of view, car pooling can reduce air pollution. By car pooling we can restrict the number of vehicles on road. As a result we can reduce the smokes produce by vehicles which hazarded our health.
